World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) 2014

Home

The World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) is held every four years and consists of approximately 50 two-person teams of amateur radio operators competing in a test of operating skill. Unlike most on-the-air competitions, all stations are required to use identical antennas from the same geographic region, eliminating all variables except operating ability.

The WRTC Sanctioning Committee is responsible for choosing the sponsor and location for each event. Previous WRTCs have been held in Seattle (1990), San Francisco (1996), Slovenia (2000), Finland (2002), Brazil (2006), and Russia (2010).
Hosting rights for the 2014 WRTC have been awarded to the New England WRTC2014 Organizing Committee. This organization is a newly-formed independent group, and not part of any existing organization, national society, or club.

We are counting on a lot of volunteers to help us with their talents and resources, primarily in the New England region (W1 call area, including Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont). We welcome financial support from contesters and clubs worldwide, and have some interesting sponsorship programs planned.

News relating to the event and all reference documents will be accessible on this site as they become available.
